Growing up in Ypsilanti, Michigan, Brian Kimmet began working in the restaurant industry at age 15, bussing tables for local restaurants. He soon began working his way up the ranks of the bar in a number of positions including server, bar back, and finally bartender.
When Kimmet moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue acting, he quickly fell in love with LA’s pulsating nightlife. By working the bar in the evenings, Kimmet could hone his self-taught mixology skills, perfect his cocktail service and flaunt his talent to an appreciative crowd. Now settled at Dolce Enoteca e Ristorante, Kimmet serves to a packed restaurant almost every night and continues to mix up new creations for his thirsty customers.
