Chris Scarduzio, co-owner and executive chef of Brasserie Perrier, Brasserie Perrier Café at Boyds, and Mia at Caesars Atlantic City, has been named to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau (PCVB).
“Chris’s successful career in the restaurant industry will be a great addition to our Board of Directors and our efforts to showcase Philadelphia’s hospitality industry,” said Nicholas DeBenedictis, chairman of the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Scarduzio began his career working for the Sheraton Resort in Poipu Beach, Hawaii. Two years later, he moved back to his hometown to become the opening chef for the Ritz-Carlton’s Grill Room, which was named one of the top 25 restaurants in the country by Conde Naste Traveler magazine.
Chris spent four years at the Ritz receiving rave reviews. Yet he decided to make his next move to the Germantown Cricket Club as executive chef. It was there that he met Chef Georges Perrier for the first time. Impressed by his talent, Chef Perrier hired Scarduzio to be part of Brasserie Perrier’s opening crew. Two short years later he became the restaurant’s Executive Chef. It was Chris hard work, determination and talent that named him Chef Perrier’s partner at Brasserie Perrier.
