When ordinary chefs think about the perfect pairing for their food, it’s usually a full-bodied wine, a complex sauce or an old imported cheese. Claud Mann is no ordinary chef. For the past nine years, Claud has been toiling to find the right blend of action, adventure, comedy and romance to match his culinary creations – as chef-host of the hit TBS series “Dinner and a Movie.” For more than 10 years, Claud has dished up such pairings as Two Hot Peppers on the Lamb for “Thelma and Louise”, Soup on a Stick for “Dumb and Dumber” and It’s all in your Headcheese for “Conspiracy Theory”
Claud sees imagination as the link between his work in the kitchen and his time spent in front of the camera. “Cooking requires you to think creatively to solve problems and liven up traditional dishes with modern inspiration,” says Mann. “Television also requires you to think on your feet, although that may not always be obvious by watching our show”
