Diane Forley is the former chef and proprietor of New York’s acclaimed Verbena restaurant and Bar Demi. She is the author of Anatomy of a Dish, which won a James Beard cookbook award in 2003. Her culinary career includes stints in some of New York’s finest restaurants – Gotham Bar and Grill, The River Café, the Hudson River Club and Petrossian – as well as stages in France. Diane moved with her husband, chef Michael Otsuka, to California to work with the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa. They now reside in the Bay Area where Diane consults and tends to their two children.
