Georges' passion for cooking was ignited early in life with a part-time job working for a small caterer in is hometown of Hull, Québec. Although intrigued by cooking, Georges attended university in Hull with the firm intention of completing a Bachelor degree in education until one is best friend intend; why not pursue is career in the food industry?

And thus it began…

Georges followed internships at the Intercontinental Hotel; The Beau Rivage in Switzerland, and in restaurants in France and New-York City. He participated in many culinary competitions and was a back up member of the medal winning Ottawa- Hull culinary team that participated in Frankfurt at the 1986 Culinary Olympics.
