Raised in a family of "foodies," it came as no surprise that Lucinda began cooking professionally at only 16 years old. After she received a degree in photography from Hampshire College, Lucinda worked as a private chef, caterer and freelance food writer after graduation. Lucinda’s Authentic Jamaican Cooking, written prior to joining Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, was re-released in April of 2006, and she is currently at work on a new cookbook, Rustic Italian Cooking, scheduled for release in 2007. You can hear Lucinda’s radio show, EatDrink, on SIRIUS satellite radio channel 112, or watch her on television on the Everyday Food cooking show on PBS. A mother of three, she has combined her expertise in the worlds of food and kids, teaching nutrition and healthy eating habits to middle and high school students. Lucinda is formerly the Food Editor of Martha Stewart Living Television, where she oversaw the content of every food segment featured on the show. Currently, she is Deputy Food Editor of Martha Stewart Living, Weddings and Kids: Fun Stuff to Do Together magazines.
