The eldest of five children, Sandra was raised in a small town in Washington state. She got her start when faced with her own home decorating dilemma: how to decorate her home with style and flair on a limited budget. Accepting the challenge, she invented a quick, easy way to re-create her own home from the inside out, and has since turned it into the "American Dream" come true.
Sandra founded her business in 1989 and has created many award-winning product lines for the home and garden. Sandra has shared her timesaving tips and techniques on most notably, NBC's Today, Entertainment Tonight, CNN and ABC's The View. She is also lifestyle contributing editor to Parade Magazine and has been featured in W magazine, Newsweek, Redbook, Woman's Day, First For Women, Readers Digest and People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People issue.
Sandra is the founder of The Sharing Tree, a charitable organization that helps feed and clothe families in need. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Southern California Chapter of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF.
